Atlas of the Morvarid Plain Flora

This book represents a dedicated effort to document and introduce a vital portion of the invaluable plant diversity in an area long known for its mining activities, yet home to a resilient and unique ecosystem. This collection identifies and profiles more than 100 plant species native to the Morvarid Plain—each testifying to the resilience and vitality of the region’s ecology.

The publication of this work is an integral part of the mine’s environmental rehabilitation and reclamation project, driven by Matmaa Mining Group’s core belief in the essential coexistence of mineral development and nature conservation. We believe that a deeper understanding of a land’s natural capital is a fundamental step toward its preservation and restoration.
