Matmaa Mining Group considers the surrounding community of the Maravid iron ore mine as the host community of its operations. In line with its commitment to good neighborliness, it pursues development and partnership with the local community based on the principles of partnership, empowerment, and locality. Following the approach of “creating added value through sustainable mining” in interaction with the host community has led to strengthening its socio-economic sustainability.
Mine Rehabilitation And Reconstruction
We believe that just as we benefit from nature, we should also pay attention to its restoration and reconstruction and minimize the negative effects of our activities. In line with the green mining plan and as a first step, projects such as identifying native plants in the region, restoring waste dumps, and planting seedlings have been completed.
Occupational Safety And Health
Employees at Matmaa Mining Group are the driving force behind mining operations. At the Morvarid Iron Ore Mine, ensuring the safety of employees in the mine and paying attention to their occupational health is a top priority. This commitment, of course, ensures effective accountability to legal bodies and also satisfies other key stakeholders of the organization, including company owners and employees’ families.
