Atlas of Morvarid Plain Plants
In collaboration with Dr. Majid Eskandari, field studies were conducted to understand the climate and vegetation of the Morvarid region. The result of this research and study was a comprehensive atlas of the plants of the Morvarid Plain, which includes names, images, and information on 200 native plant species in the region.
These measures will form the basis of our operational plans to preserve and restore the mine, the vegetation of the region, and implement the principles of sustainable mining.
Book of the Mountain Pearl
The book “Mountain Pearl” is an ethnographic account of the connection between the Metma iron ore mine and its host village.
This book narrates the lives of the people of the “Morvarid” village and the impact of the company’s social responsibility programs, which were written over a period of 5 years, during which the author met and rose with the people and experienced living alongside them.
