The Persian rose (also featured in the Matmaa Mining Group logo) is one of 116 species identified in the Morvarid Iron Ore Mine Rehabilitation and Restoration Project. It is a rare species that grows in a bushy form and is classified as a wild plant.

Since 2024, the Morvarid Mines Complex has been able to provide real-time monitoring and remote control of operations, and new changes have been implemented to optimize energy and equipment. Today, mining operations are monitored and analyzed on a daily basis using a monitoring system with sensors equipped with artificial intelligence.
