Flora Atlas of the Morvarid Plain
In collaboration with Dr. Majid Eskandari, extensive field studies were conducted to analyze the climate and vegetation of the Morvarid region. The outcome of this research has been compiled into a comprehensive atlas of the Morvarid Plain flora, featuring the names, photographs, and ecological data of 200 wild plant species native to the area.
These initiatives lay the groundwork for our operational programs dedicated to mine restoration, regional vegetation preservation, and the fulfillment of sustainable mining principles.
The Mountain Pearl
“The Mountain Pearl” is an ethnographic report documenting the deep-rooted connection between the Matmaa Iron Ore Mine and its host village.
This book narrates the lives of the residents of “Morvarid” village and illustrates the impact of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. It is the result of five years of close interaction, immersive dialogue, and shared life experiences between the author and the local community.
